THE SHORT DEFINITION OF GLOBAL ENGINEERING
Global engineering is the application of currently accepted scientific principles to the design of projects that cannot be implemented until the emergence of a global state.
THE EXPANDED DEFINITION OF GLOBAL ENGINEERING
Global engineering differs from engineering as a whole only in that when engineers create designs presently, they have an incipient expectation that, were funding to become available, what they design might be implemented. However, the performance of state currency limits the scopes of projects. For example, there is not enough money to fund a clone of our planet (and moon) in the same solar orbit. Consequently, the planetary cloning process will not be pursued by persons with remunerative intent. The mere performance of money is a form of engineering thought control; engineers do not design solar systems because they have been incipiently controlled to believe that if funding will not appear, they dare even think.
Global engineering is liberatory in its praxis. It unites persons that share the goal of minimally restricted activity and it overtly challenges such persons to realize global projectsin open fora.

THE SIX TYPES OF STATES THAT CAN EXIST ON ONE PLANET
To understand fully “global” projects, “global” engineering, and a “global” state, one must understand fully all types of states that can exist on one planet, of which there are six. Each have their own type of barrier, which represent the largest sustainable project, and each have different impossible projects, with barriers usually being the chief limiting factor of project scope. Figure 1 illustrates the linear progression of the six types of states that can exist on one planet.

A Type 6 state would consist minimally of one clone of this planet and its moon in the same solar orbit. Multiple clones would follow, and a barrier would protect the entire solar system. Of course, those clone planets would not have nation states or region states. A Type 6 state would have as a goal to clone the sun and set Earth clones in similar orbits around it, and to set that second solar system, as well as more copies of it, on different paths away from its origin, resulting in a Type 7 state. This would ensure survival of all species, in the event of a nova or other massive disaster in one system.
THE CURRENT STATE OF STATES
The current state of states is Type 3. No Type 4 state has ever fully emerged, not necessarily because Type 3 states regard them as threats and incessantly attack; rather, because not more than one Type 4 state has simultaneously coexisted. Were this to occur, nation states would stop performing “border” and unite in region statehood to oppose other region states, a.k.a. interregional war. At present, this is most likely to occur with the rise of the Eurasia region state (“EAU”), in opposition to the Europe region state (“EU”). Already, the Eurasia region state is carving a permanent war zone between these two arbitrary masses of land.
GLOBAL ENGINEERS AND GLOBAL PROJECTS
A global engineer can be any person with the mental capacity to design global projects. For such persons, the number of barriers that preclude global engineering diminishes every day. Accordingly, such persons should communicate with each other and, at a minimum, design such projects.
Examples of global projects include:
vacuum-tube trains traveling around and through the planet
nanotechnology enabling human flight
human settlement in equatorial littoral areas only
human DNA repair eliminating all causes of death (minus accidents, the lone future cause)
communication of thoughts without language
