The Tokyo Global Engineering Corporation is organized much like a mix of a university and a corporation. The Corporation’s Board of Investors is similar to a doctoral dissertation committee, and evaluates the Corporation’s design reports by providing collective views and recommendations to the Corporation’s design teams. The Corporation’s president, who also serves as chairperson of the investment board, is similar to a university president, and approves all of the Corporation’s functions. The president’s principal deputies are the members of the Board of Advisors, who are subject-matter experts that intermittently guide employees, and the chief executive, similar to a university administrative dean, who serves as the principal advisor to the president on all matters pertaining to the operation, administration, and maintenance of the corporation.
